Fitness, Yoga and Dance in Bristol, NH

November 2, 2021 6:04 am

Bristol is a community where people like to stay active. With paddling and swimming on the lake in summer, skiing and snowshoeing in the winter, and hiking year round, there are plenty of ways to get out and get the heart pumping. The great outdoors isn’t the only place you can stay active in Bristol, though. Local fitness and dance centers provide plenty of opportunities for physical activity, from barre and yoga to weight lifting and spin.

Here are a few places in Bristol where you can hit the gym or take a dance class.

Kilter Fitness

If you’re searching for a place to workout that is a step above your average gym, look no further. Owned by Rachel Lacasse and George Clayman, Kilter Fitness is a full fitness facility with a strong passion for community health and safety. Rachel and Georgeaim to provide a supportive environment for members to learn and grow. If you often find yourself feeling intimidated or overwhelmed when working out at the gym, this could be the perfect fit for you!

Whatever you’re looking for, Kilter Fitness has it! Cardio equipment, free weights, circuit equipment, and more are available for your workout. There is also a wide variety of classes offered here: Zumba, spin, barre, yoga, intro to weightlifting, etc. If you require one-on-one guidance, personal training and health coaching are available upon request.

Plus we love celebrating Kilter Fitness for the work they did to revitalize a building in much need of repair in a prominent spot in downtown Bristol. Not only did Kilter Fitness fill a need many residents said they were looking for — a locally-owned indoor gym — it is also a big economic development success story for us here in town.

Open 24 hours (for members) in Central Square.
